I bought a new lens today.. I am sorry. I kinda promised not too, but I did. But damn, what a lens it is! The Nikkor 50mm 1.4G lens is just amazing. I absolutely love the bokeh you can create with it. At the top of this page is a sample image I took two days ago of my lovely girlfriend. She’s cute isn’t she.. whatever lens it would have been, she would look good. Though that’s not the point here

Inderdaad een nieuw speeltje.. kan het niet laten he. Maar dit lensje is wel echt fantastisch voor dit soort potretten met een kleine scherptediepte, of natuurlijk erg goed te gebruiken als er heeel weinig licht is.

Prachtige foto ! Ligt vast niet alleen aan de lens en het mooie model, maar ook aan de fotograaf…
Hi Sjourd, wat ik nu eigenlijk zo mooi vind aan deze foto is dat het door de bokeh net lijkt alsof de omgeving vertraagd meegaat met de beweging van je girlfriend. Een soort van “matrix” idee. Dus alsof ze plots stilstaat terwijl de omgeving nog tot stilstand moet komen en jij net op dat moment de foto schiet. Of misschien zie ik nu iets wat er helemaal niet is,…..enfin, ik vind de foto gewoon prachtig, just love it!

Dat gevoel creëren was ook een beetje de bedoeling. En vooral ook doordat ze achterom kijkt (sort of), versterkt het de gedachte dat ze zelf opeens stil staat.
